One of the most frustrating things when I digitally paint is that I get this sort of clean cut-out look, because I usually work strictly in layers and sections. It doesn't really look and feel good... why did I do my entire thesis like that? Anyways, I bought new brushes from Kyle T. Webster and it's been a blessing. I got the gouache set, and it's making me love to draw again. The only time I really feel good when drawing is with charcoal and it feels (not entirely like that) but similar! Here's a doodle I did with the brushes, I'm still trying to get the hang of it.
It's a random time of the year to make a year's resolution but I would like to try and post one sketch/doodle, anything everyday on here.. but let's hope that's not wishful thinking.
